Model Editors, Physics Engines & Math libraries
None of these are specific for managed code or even DirectX but you won't get far without creating some 3-d models. There are also no managed physics engines out there, but there are a couple with managed interfaces. Don't forget that games are all about math these days so there are links to useful math libraries too.

Complete $2000, Unlimited $7000, Student discounts available if you qualify.
Learning edition - FREE. The learning edition is limited in what it can render and the file format is not compatible with other programs so its not much use for creating games.

Jason Zelsnack has a managed wrapper available on his site as part of a demo.
(found on Inner Realm, thanks Mykre & Bonk)

It's also rumored that Brandon might be working on a managed wrapper, though that was a long time ago.

2/5/06: Added link to ODE 2.0 wrapper

ODE is an open source physics engine which has been used in commercial games such as BloodRayne 2.

As a side project of the Axiom engine Ode has had a managed wrapper created by David Walker and now supported by theTurbo. Information can be found in the realmforge forums though with the current state of Axiom (does anyone know the official story?) I don't know if the ODE wrapper is easily obtained or not.

There is an additional managed wrapper written by James Raine. More details can be found here.

PepperBoy has updated James Raine's code to .Net 2.0

The Tokamak physics engine is available free for commercial and non commercial use.

RobyDX has created a managed wrapper for it which is available on his website on this page (translated to english by google). It's not complete yet but he is looking for people to try it out and give him feedback. Contact details on his website.
